Effective October 27, 2026
This privacy policy explains how EmergencyRestore, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("we," "us"), handles your information when you use EmergencyRestore.com or call our dispatch line. The short version: we run a referral service. When you contact us about a property emergency, we connect you with independent restoration contractors in our network, and doing that means sharing your request with them. By accessing or using our services you agree to this privacy policy and our Terms.
A plain-spoken note on "selling." We don't hand your information to data brokers. But some state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough to cover a referral service being compensated for connecting you with a contractor, or advertising partners receiving activity data. If those definitions apply to you, you have the right to opt out: see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Our site is built to load fast with as little tracking as possible. Where our pages support paid advertising, we and our partners may use cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies to attribute visits and calls to the ads that produced them and to measure campaign performance. You can limit cookies through your browser settings and where required by law we honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) for those technologies.
We may offer a mobile messaging program. In the event you opt-in to receive SMS/text messages from us, we will collect and use your mobile telephone number to maintain and administer our mobile messaging program. With your permission, we may send text messages about your service requests, our service offerings, and other updates. Please review our Communications and Mobile Messaging Terms for more information including information on how to unsubscribe or update your personal information therein and your responsibilities and liabilities related thereto.
For the avoidance of doubt, you hereby agree that we may contact you via any means, including via SMS/text message and email and through the use of autodialing systems and services, to furnish you information regarding your service request and similar information pertaining to a commercial transaction, provided however, the foregoing is not, and shall not be interpreted as, an admission by us that we use an autodialing system.
The period during which we retain your personal information varies depending on the purpose for the data processing. For example, we retain personal information for as long as needed to provide you with the service, to facilitate transactions you have requested, to comply with our legal obligations, to engage in marketing activities, and for as long as is necessary to defend our legal or business interests. In all other cases, we retain your personal information for as long as is needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy.
We are based in the United States, and the personal information that we collect and process is retained and stored in the United States. We use service providers and contractors that store personal information on our behalf in the United States and in other countries where you may not be a resident. Please be aware that the United States, and these other countries, may not provide the same level of protection of personal information as in your country, state, or other jurisdiction of residence or nationality, and when transferred to the United States or elsewhere, your personal information may be accessible by, or otherwise made available to, local government authorities and officials pursuant to judicial and/or administrative orders, decrees, and demands, and/or other domestic laws, statutes, and regulations. By continuing to provide us such information, you hereby acknowledge and agree that your personal information will be transferred to, and stored in, the United States and in the countries where our service providers are located.
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access or correct it, to delete it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any of them, email privacy@emergencyrestore.com or call (888) 526-6436. We'll verify your identity against the records we hold, respond within the time your state's law requires, and explain how to appeal if you disagree with our decision. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. Details and the opt-out process are on the Do Not Sell or Share page. To stop receiving calls or texts from us, see Communications and Mobile Messaging Terms.
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit, and stored records are limited to the systems and people needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure - don't include information in a service request beyond what we ask for.
This policy covers EmergencyRestore.com and our dispatch line only. Contractors' own websites and any sites we link to have their own privacy practices, and we're not responsible for them.
Our services are for adults dealing with property emergencies and are not directed to children under 16.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
