Effective July 27, 2026
Several state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), and similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, and other states, give you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, and to request that we delete the personal information we hold about you. Because we operate a referral service that is compensated for connecting homeowners with independent restoration contractors, some of what we do may count as a "sale" or "share" under those broad definitions. This page is how you tell us to stop.
Email privacy@emergencyrestore.com with the subject line "Privacy Request", or call (888) 526-6436, and include:
You don't need an account with us to submit a request, and we'll use the information you provide only to address the request itself.
Opting out stops the disclosures that state law treats as a sale or sharing - such as advertising-related data sharing. It does not undo connections already made: if you asked us to connect you with a contractor and we did, that contractor already has your request and handles it under their own privacy practices. And if you contact us about a new emergency after opting out, we'll ask for your consent again at that time - the referral itself is the service you're requesting.
For the full picture of what we collect and how we use it, see the Privacy Policy.
